It all started in 1998, with a young boy from Brooklyn, NY, who had two turntables and a mixer. His older cousin Matthew of Samuels Top Ranking Sound gave him two records to play: Foundation by Beenie Man and Heads High by Mr. Vegas. The love for music and the idea of mixing the two songs fascinated him. Fast forward to 2006, his cousin DJ Kidd Stone gifted him with a sound system for his birthday. Every day he would practice honing his skills.

As time went on, this young man and his cousin Anthony would rent out DJ equipment to play at family gatherings and events. With a great ear for music, he would also make mix CDs for parties. Over a course of time, that young man was able to purchase his own DJ equipment and start a mobile DJ business. DJ Stan C Productions LLC was formed in 2016.

The company’s motto is "using music to make moments memorable." The motto means DJ Stan C will provide the kind of sound that will set the tone for memorable vibes. Attention to detail is vital in giving the client the type of experience they desire. DJ Stan C believes that communication and collaboration is important for an event to be successful.

DJ Stan C has provided sounds for a wide range of events that include parties, weddings, community outreach, outdoor functions, conferences, music showcases, and clubs.
